Week 3 Finished - Week 4 coming

I am glad to have week 3 and the storm past us.  Make sure the boys are keeping up with the timeline; In review they had a little trouble with it.  The presentations have be great so far this year.  Next weeks presentation will be a Bible Reading or Recitation (2-3 min).

In Psalm 119:11, David says, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” What passages from God’s word have you hidden in your heart? Share a bible passage that is meaningful to you. Do your best to memorize your chosen passage. Enhance your presentation with props or actions.  The focus this week is on volume.

Class Tuesday the 28th has been cancelled

Hi all, CC will be cancelled this Tuesday due to the impending storm. When we return we will continue with week 3's information. We will make up the day at the end of this semester. I will be praying for all the families and please be safe. I will see everyone next Tuesday. Thanks!

Week 2

Week 2 is coming soon.  Our presentation will be Literature Narration (1-2 min).
Select a short piece of literature to read or recite.  We will be practicing: Confidence. Trust and rely in the strength and stability of God and in the truth of your message. Begin and end with confidence using the 3-second rule.  Pause three seconds before you begin your presentation and three seconds after, before you sit down.

Welcome Letter

My name is Matthew Birke, your child’s CC Foundations tutor. Before I had children, I taught middle school math for six years and was a network administrator for eight years. I decided to stay home when my son, Noah, was born.  I have been home schooling since he was four and this is my fourth year as a CC tutor. I have three children  Noah , Madeleine, and Evangeline.
